Born about 1688 at Beckcote, Calder Bridge, Cumberland, son of Henry Moscrop and his wife Barbara ( nee Jackson.)

First wife. Married Elizabeth Grayson about 1712. Place unknown.   

2 Children : Henry baptised 29/7/1711 at St Bridget's, Beckermet, Ann(e) baptised 9/6/1713 at St Bridget's.

Second Wife. Married Anne Curwen, 14 January 1720/1 at St Bridget's, Cumberland.

6 Children : Bridget born 1720 at Beckcote, Calder Bridge, and baptised 15/5/1720 at St Bridget's, Beckermet, Barbara born about 1723 at Beckcote, Dorothy born about 1723 at Beckcote, Isaac born about 1725 at Beckcote, Charles born 1726 at Beckcote, baptised  1/1/1726 at St Bridget's, and Hannah born about 1727 at Beckcote.

Clements will proven in 1813, mentions three youngest children Dorothy, Isaac, and Hannah, also eldest son to pay Richard Jackson mortgage for Broad Ley

In the will of Isaac his father proven in 1719, left 5 shilling.
