Elizabeth was born on the 1/10/1847 at Drigg. 11 Children. William born 1/10/1858 at Ravenglass, Ruth born 6/2/1860 at Ravenglass and baptised at Muncaster on the 3/3/1860. The rest of the family were born at Holborn Hill, Millom and baptised at Holy Trinity Millom. Margaret born 1/8/1865 and baptised on the 27/9/1865, Jane born 18/8/1867 and baptised on the 8/9/1867, George born 6/6/1869 and baptised on the 18/7/1867, Henry Hartley born 10/10/1871 and baptised on the 17/11/1871, Elizabeth Hannah born on the 25/9/1873 and baptised on the 29/10/1873, Eve born on the 24/12/1875 and baptised on the 30/12/1875, John born on the 26/9/1877 and baptised on the 7/10/1877, Isaac Hartley born on the 13/7/1880, and James Preston born 30/5/1883 and baptised on the 24/6/1883.
