13 Mar 1900 at Flimby, Cumberland, son of James Mossop and Ann ( nee Barker). Baptised on the 8 April at St Nicholas Church, Flimby.

Occupation

Clerk on the Railway. Workington to Carlisle Line based at Glasson., and Chief Clerk on the LMS line at Millom.

Died.

8 July 1947 at Market Street, Millom, and buried at St Nicholas Church, Flimby.

Notes.

Had his own band called the Melody Makers, and played in Dance Halls around Cumberland. Also played in the orchestra for Maryport Amateur Dramatic Society for more than 25 years..
