Born 24/6/1836 at Cubban, Irton Cumberland, daughter of Joseph Mossop and Eleanor (nee Robinson). Baptised  31/7/1836 at Irton Church..

Died 12/3/1891 at Fothergill Road, Flimby, and buried 15/3/1891 at St Nicholas Church Flimby in the old Church yard. Head stones have since been removed from the old Church yard.

1851 census. Working as a House Servant at Bolt Hall Farm, Irton for a William Crosthwaite.

1861 census. In Flimby House Servant, working for John James's family. Elizabeth's children being looked after by her sister Hannah Rogers, living at Scott's View, Flimby.

1881 census. In Flimby House Keeper  to Thomas Sanderson, Elizabeth's children with her.
