September 1748 at Grange, Beckermet, Cumberland, daughter of William Cook, and his wife Ruth ( nee Kitchin). Baptised 4 September 1748 at St John's Church, Millom.

Married Clement Moscrop, 1 September 1770, at St John's, Beckermet, Cumberland.

8 Children : All the children were born at Croasdale and baptised at Ennerdale, Cumberland.  Hannah baptised 2/6/1771, Ruth baptised 29/11/1772, Ann baptised 24/11/1774, Isaac baptised 25/4/1777, Clement born Feb 1778, and baptised 17/10/1778, William baptised 17/12/1780, John baptised 19/10/1779 and Henry baptised 26/9/1791.

Notes.

Mother's will Ruth Mossop proven 1795 mentions Ann  living at Croasdale.
