Born.

Born about 1725 at Beckcote, Calder Bridge, Cumberland, son of Clement Moscrop and his wife Ann ( nee Curwen.).    

Married

Married Jane Norman, 7 February 2748, at Ennerdale, Cumberland. Jane was born May 1729 at Ennerdale.   

4 Children : Clement born 1750 at Beckermet, Cumberland, baptised 23/3/1729 at St Bridget's Beckermet, John born November 1750 at High Broad Ley, Calder Bridge, baptised 15/4/1753 at Haile, Hannah born 1755 at High Broad Ley, baptised 30/5/1755 at Haile, Isaac born 1757 at High Broad Ley, baptised 9/5/1757 at Haile.

Occupation

Yeoman Farmer. 

Died.

Died 18 June 1813 at High Broad Ley, and buried 21 June at Haile, Cumberland.  

Notes.

Fathers will proven 1732, one of three children mentioned,  Dorothy, Isaac and Hannah. Mothers name Ann. Father arranges for mortgage fro Broad Ley to be paid to Richard Jackson.

 Isaac's will proven in 1813, left farm at Croasdale, to eldest son Clement, youngest son was sole executor.

From the "Cumberland Parquet" dated 29/6/1813 :- Friday fortnight at High Broad Ley's in Haile, in the 89th year of his age, greatly respected.
