Born.

24 November 1895 at 13, Lapstone Road, Millom, Cumberland, son of John (Tacker) Bennett, and his wife Mary Ann ( nee Crellin. Baptised 6 January 1896 at Primitive Methodist, Millom, Cumberland.   

Married

Married Mary Agnes Morris, 8 April, 1944, at Holy Trinity, Millom.   

2 Children : John born 31 August 1945 at Millom, Cumberland, and Jean born 1 July 1948 at Millom Cumberland. 

Occupation

Dairy Man. Owned Central Dairy Millom, serving Millom and district. 

Died.

27 October 1963, at Quarry House, Millom.   

Notes.

Before going into the milk business, used to have a Van and go round Millom and district, selling pots and pans, Paraffin and Tea (his nick name was a brand of tea.)
